Joshua Arnold and Therine are a drone folk duo from the North West consisting of hurdy gurdy player Joshua Arnold and vocalist Therine. As a live act they perform droning, instrumentally eclectic versions of songs in the British folk canon showcasing themes of the dark and macabre alongside thudding Playford tunes and original experimental doom folk backed by dense loops of upright bass, harmonium, drums and DIY instrument drones.
