Join PhD researcher November Tan for a special guided building tour and creative workshop. Discover hidden spaces, fascinating histories, and the inner workings of one of Portsmouth’s most loved buildings. Explore the Central Library through a different lens and participate in making a zine to bring home at the end of the tour. This is a rare chance to see Central Library from a whole new perspective.

Open to anyone aged 16+. No experience required — just bring curiosity and stories!

Note: Through collecting memories and stories from participants, this workshop can contribute to November's PhD researche in Architecture at the University of Portsmouth. Her work forms part of an AHRC-funded collaborative doctoral partnership with the Portsmouth City Council. This focuses on the architectural history of the Portsmouth Central Library, as well as participatory heritage and design.
