This December, Thornton Hough Village Club plays host to one of the standout voices of the U.K. country scene when Jade Helliwell brings a special acoustic show to The Wirral. With special guest Jess Thristan.

Jade Helliwell is a multi-award-winning singer-songwriter hailing from Leeds. With her powerful and soulful vocals, she has captivated audiences with her authentic and heartfelt pop-country sound.

Her critically acclaimed EP “How love Goes” showcased her exceptional songwriting ability, remarkablevocal range, and delivers heartfelt lyrics that resonate deeply with listeners. 2025 saw Jade team up with producer Alyssa Bonagura to record her album Rebegin. The first two singles ‘Look What You’ve Done’ & ‘Drink You Outta my Mind’ showcase Jade’s abilty to combine catchy lyrics with infectious melody and paint a picture in the listeners mind.

Described by The Independent as “the future of country music in the UK,” Jade’s journey has taken her from a chance viral moment on the streets of Leeds to sold-out tours, major festival stages and winning both Album of The Year and Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2025 British Country Music Awards, adding to her many previous awards. Along the way she’s built a loyal audience drawn to her honest songwriting, warm vocal, and a sound that blends modern country with a distinctly British feel.
