Join us for Friday Night Jazz at the Atrium Bar & Restaurant, President Hotel, Russell Square. On 19 June we are delighted to present the outstanding guitarist Ant Law, accompanied by Soner Ersen on piano, Dave Manington on bass, and Eric Ford on drums.
Ant Law is one of the UK’s most inventive contemporary jazz guitarists and composers, recognised for his modern harmonic approach, fluid improvisation, and distinctive compositional voice. His work blends intricate writing with open, exploratory improvisation, placing him at the forefront of the modern British jazz scene.
He has performed and recorded with many leading artists across the UK and internationally, earning a reputation for both technical brilliance and musical sensitivity. His projects often explore unusual harmonic structures and fresh approaches to the jazz guitar trio and quartet formats.
Together with an exceptional trio of musicians, he will present an evening of beautifully crafted original music, lyrical improvisation, and dynamic interplay in an intimate and relaxed setting.
To enjoy the full experience of the evening, we recommend arriving from 7:30 PM to allow time to be seated, order your food, and settle in comfortably before the music begins at 8:00 PM. If you are planning to arrive after 8:00 PM, please email londonjazzstage@gmail.com in advance so we can note your arrival time and do our best to arrange a suitable table.
