REPEAT Presents:
SPLAT ATTACK!
A 4-track splatter vinyl 10" EP celebrating female-fronted noise from South Wales.
Launch Party July 11th at Down By Here (Elysium), Swansea High Street

REPEAT returns with SPLAT ATTACK — a limited edition 10” splatter vinyl EP bringing together four of the most exciting female-fronted bands currently erupting out of South Wales’ underground.
Featuring Flatcat, Hairdye, Sold For Parts and Spwci, this is a release that captures a scene buzzing with energy, attitude and DIY spirit — a snapshot of now, pressed loud and messy for the turntable.
Each band brings something distinct to the record, but all share a refusal to sit quietly, blending punk urgency, melody and raw creativity into something urgent and vital.

flatcat
Part of the new wave of Swansea bands tearing up local line-ups, Flatcat deal in sharp-edged indie punk with a dreamy shoegaze heart. Regulars on bills across the city, they’ve built a reputation for punchy, loud, fuzzy, shoegaze-charged noise-pop mixed with wired intensity.

Hairdye
Born out of teenage bedrooms and rehearsal spaces, Hairdye channel the fizz and chaos of growing up into infectious pop-punk blasts. Their songs capture friendship, frustration and youthful defiance, delivered with hooks that stick and a live energy that’s already making them a standout on South Wales bills . Equal parts fun and ferocious, they’re proof that urgency and melody still go hand in hand.

Sold For Parts
An all-female punk force from South Wales, Sold For Parts lean hard into grit, attitude and volume . Built for sweaty rooms and zero-distance stages, their sound is direct, uncompromising and driven by a fierce DIY ethos. Whether on tour across the region or tearing through local gigs, they bring a confrontational Riot Grrl edge that cuts through the noise and demands attention .

Spwci
Spwci bring a more expansive, alt-psych edge to the line-up — music that feels both atmospheric and immediate. Their songs drift and surge, blending melody with texture and emotion, creating something that hits as much in the gut as the head. It’s a sound rooted in feeling and experimentation, adding a different shade to the EP’s splattered palette .

SPLAT ATTACK isn’t just a record — it’s a statement. Four bands, four tracks, one shared refusal to be background noise. Pressed on eye-catching splatter vinyl and released in true DIY style, it celebrates a community that’s loud, inclusive and impossible to ignore.

Play it loud.
The Splat Attack! ep will be available cheap at the gig and then nationwide for the price of a 7” single in all good record stores via Shellshock Distribution or via repeatfanzine.bandcamp.com
