Join us for Friday Night Jazz at the Atrium Bar & Restaurant, President Hotel, Russell Square. On 24 July we are delighted to present the outstanding trumpeter Jackson Mathod, accompanied by Soner Ersen on piano, Steve Rose on bass, and Eric Ford on drums.
Jackson Mathod is a versatile British trumpeter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist known for his warm tone, lyrical phrasing, and energetic improvisational style. Blending elements of modern jazz, soul, and contemporary grooves, he has quickly established himself as an exciting and distinctive voice on the UK jazz scene.
He has performed with a wide range of leading artists and projects across the UK and internationally, building a reputation for both expressive soloing and sensitive ensemble playing across diverse musical settings.
Together with an exceptional trio of musicians, he will present an evening of beautifully crafted originals, soulful improvisation, and dynamic, groove-driven interplay in an intimate and relaxed setting.
To enjoy the full experience of the evening, we recommend arriving from 7:30 PM to allow time to be seated, order your food, and settle in comfortably before the music begins at 8:00 PM. If you are planning to arrive after 8:00 PM, please email londonjazzstage@gmail.com in advance so we can note your arrival time and do our best to arrange a suitable table.
