Have summer fun with the Big Fish Little Fish family rave crew as they take over Shrewsbury House Gardens with superstar DJ and 90s jungle legend Aphrodite.

The Original Family Rave - Big Fish Little Fish is bringing their acclaimed event to Shrewsbury House for the first time. Come dance in Shrewsbury House Gardens with your family and join the award winning fun. The historic house will be the perfect grand backdrop to the outdoor garden micro festival. The event is designed with families with 0-8 year olds in mind - but all ages are very welcome.
Dance together on a dance floor/garden filled with bubbles, balloons, foam and topped by the parachute dance in this amazing venue! It’s ‘Flower Power’ themed so dress up as hippie or floral as you like – groovy baby!

DJ Aphrodite - a South Londoner who has pioneered dance music genres since his days as breakbeat hardcore duo Urban Shakedown before becoming the world renown jungle and DnB producer and DJ – Aphrodite. Part of DnB’s foundations and his Big Fish Little Fish sets are always a treat.

There are accessible toilets downstairs. Some areas of the garden have steps but most of the area is accessible through flat pathways. There is blue badge parking in the onsite car park

Info about the day
Please note this event is outside so come along, embrace the festival atmosphere and dress appropriately for the weather on the day. The event will take place whatever the weather and refunds will not be offered in the case of bad weather.
This event is particularly suitable for families with younger children (8s and under) although all ages are welcome. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and parents remain responsible for their children at all times. No adult only groups are permitted.
Each member of your group must have a ticket. Pre-walking infants are free but need a pre-booked free ticket. Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred/sold on to other people.
A maximum of 3 children per adult. If in a large group (more than two families) then one adult per two children please. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email info@bigfishlittlefishevents.com for pre-approval before buying tickets.
Buggy Parking will be inside the house. Buggies will not be permitted onto the lawns as they become a tripping hazard. We advise small babies be worn in slings on the dancefloor.
Due to nature of this event dogs are not permitted.
Please be aware that this event is standing/dancing with limited seating and events are busy with hundreds of people attending - which helps create the rave ambience. The dance area is for adults and children to dance together. Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance.
A licensed bar will be open during the event but no glass is permitted. Please do not bring your own alcoholic drinks with you as these will be confiscated at the entrance gate. You are welcome to bring baby food with you.
We may photograph or film small parts of the event and by entering you are giving your permission for these to be used for BFLF or Shrewsbury House promotion purposes.
Please be aware that BFLF is designed to provide a family friendly, authentic club experience and is not a traditional children's party or disco. There is no kids music, nor games, nor DJ shout outs. The effect is to give families unity on the dancefloor - dancing together.

What's the refund policy?
There is a no refund policy but if you are unable to attend you may sell your tickets to someone else.
How loud will it be?
BFLF sets and monitors the volume using World Health Organisation guidelines - so that is it at a safe level for everyone, even the youngest babies, over the 2 hour duration of the event. Though quieter than at adult events, it is still loud enough to feel like you are at a club. Most parents do not use ear defenders on their children but if yours are particularly sensitive to noise or if you want them to nap then you might want to consider it.
