Event information
Come for the bands, stay for the independent beer from 12 leading UK breweries.
Tap Social Movement hosts its fifth-annual Change is Brewing indie beer & music festival on Saturday, 6 June, with doors from 2pm and music and DJs all day long. There'll be 60+ fresh beers pouring on draught, plus afternoon sets from The Bobo, Count Skylarkin, Felix Ross, and DJ Molemann.
You should come out for the full day! Tickets for standard admission from 2pm can be booked here: https://wegottickets.com/event/693646
However, if you're primarily interested in checking out festival headliners WIDGET and Alto Alto, this late-entry ticket is for you!
Formed by members of Big Joanie, all cats are beautiful, Junodef and Zahra Haji Fath Ali Tehrani, WIDGET is an East London-based queer post-punk disco band that just released its buzzy debut album "Classy Hits Vol.2" on Peach Records.
Of the album, Brooklyn Vegan says it's "firmly in indie disco territory, recalling everything from Orange Juice and The Style Council to Pulp and both Ian and Baxter Dury. As light, fun, and funky as the music is, WIDGET are dancing their way through dark times."
WIDGET will be joined in the evening by Oxford indie rockers Alto Alto, which pushes in bold, unexpected directions, leaving behind familiar ground to explore new musical horizons. Perhaps you caught them at Truck Festival!
Alto Alto has also just dropped its debut EP, a five-track statement of intent built on dynamic contrasts, textured guitars, and an instinct for balancing melody with grit.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS REDUCED ADMISSION TICKET ALLOWS ENTRY FROM 7PM ONLY. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED AND WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING. YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO ALL FESTIVAL BEER, BUT UNLIKE GENERAL ADMISSION THIS TICKET DOES NOT INCLUDE A FESTIVAL GLASS TO KEEP.
