Songs you know played like you never heard them before, inspired by the global phenomenon that is Scott Bradley’s Post Modern Jukebox (PMJ).
Well known modern pop and rock songs are reinvented and reimagined in unexpected ways to create something completely fresh. It'll include classics like ‘Careless Whisper’, and ‘Sweet Child O’Mine’ alongside more recent hits by the likes of Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa, Shindig plays songs you know but not as you know them!
Singer Kiri Aggett brings the music alive with her velvety toned vocals together with a 2 piece horn section, Rachel Strange and Laura Cook, juggling saxophones, trumpet and clarinet. In the rhythm section Lisa Woods (MD) on piano is joined by Tony Follano on drums and Ian Morrell on double and electric bass.
Whether you want to sit back and enjoy the music, or get your dancing shoes on and party like it’s last century, get on down to Shindig here on Sunday 28 June.
