Friday night at Jamboree with Electric Jalaba (Morocco/UK) exploring the entrancing overlap between traditional Moroccan gnawa and live dance music with a hypnotizing, electrifying and truly floor-filling sound.

A staple festival act in the UK and Europe for years, the band are increasingly much more than the slick fusion of their origin. Their new music maintains their buzzing dance spirit, but with boundaries pushed further into the trance and spiritual jazz elements of the sound. With lead singer Simo Lagnawi at the helm,  they know exactly how to draw a crowd in.
