'cooking up connection and community through literature and spoken word'
An Open Mic for prose and poetry: you may be an accomplished writer or a newcomer but this is your chance to share your writing for 5 minutes in front of a friendly and supportive audience! Word Kitchen delight in giving writers a voice, so why not step up to the mic? Please contact sidmouthdavid@outlook.com to book a reading slot, or simply come along to be entertained and inspired. Writers with work in Word Kitchen's anthology The Power of Place anthology are particularly encouraged to sign up!
A selection of light snacks will be available to buy on the night and drinks will be on sale from the bar.
