Event information

Join the lovely artist and educator Naoise for a relaxed and welcoming creative workshop designed for adults who would like to build confidence in their creativity, experiment with new techniques, and enjoy the process of making art.

You'll receive a soft drink in arrival to relax into the space and you will be working with fresh botanicals and a variety of drawing materials, participants will explore a series of playful and expressive abstract drawing exercises in a shared creative space. This beginner-friendly session encourages mindfulness, curiosity, and creative freedom, with no previous experience required.

As part of the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to translate your drawings onto glass, contributing to a playful public art piece inspired by the forms, textures, and patterns found in nature.

What to expect:

-Guided abstract drawing exercises using real botanicals
-A relaxed, supportive, and beginner-friendly environment
-Opportunities to experiment with different materials and mark-making techniques
-Mindful creative activities focused on process rather than outcome
-The chance to bring your artwork onto glass as part of a collaborative public art opportunity

The session starts at 11.00am and finishes at 12.30pm
