Event information

MUNGO PARKER: Mungo Parker is an artist who is writing the soundtrack to his life as beautifully as possible. Mungo has released 3 albums and is lining up a fourth album which will be released in late Summer / early Autumn. His music has been used on Guy Garvey's Finest Hour on BBC Sounds / BBC Radio 6 and he is about to have his most popular song 'It's A Beautiful World' used on the new series of a well established TV show in the US.

JOHNNY TURNER: London-based singer-songwriter Johnny Turner is originally from Atlanta, GA, USA, and brings with him the storytelling sense of the Deep South – along with an unmatched sense of melody. Alternating between piano and acoustic guitar, Johnny’s soaring vocals take you through arch stories and heartfelt musings full of humour and pathos. Musical touchstones include the American Songbook, the blues and Laurel Canyon.

KATIE STACHNIEWSKA: Katie Stachniewska is a London-based singer-songwriter who has been writing songs since she was a child. Her music blends contemporary acoustic songwriting with the rich storytelling traditions of folk music. Inspired by the Scottish folk songs her mother sang to her as a child, and by a trip to Nashville in 2019, Katie writes and performs songs that tell stories and explore themes of place, memory and human connection.

Katie wrote and recorded much of her first album Dreaming in a Quiet Year during lockdown and released it in 2022. She is now writing her second album and is currently a regular performer on the North London folk circuit. Katie has appeared at a variety of folk clubs and local festivals and events, and she loves sharing her music with others. Katie brings warmth to every performance, and invites audiences to slow down, listen closely, and connect through story and song.
