Line-Up:
A fab collection of local acts! Keep your eyes and ears peeled for updates soon!
The Venue:
Tap Social Movement is a multi award-winning social enterprise brewery, bakery, and hospitality company that provides training and paid employment for people from prison. To date it has created more than 115,000 hours of employment for people from prison, and today approximately one-third of its team has lived experience with the UK's criminal justice system. It's currently the UK's "Community-Based Social Enterprise of the Year," and select beers are distributed to more than 250 Waitrose & Partners supermarkets across the country.
It brews a range of modern, accessible beer highlighted by its year-round core range, many of which will be on draught during HOxStock (along with special releases!). Tap's best-selling beer is Time Better Spent, a 5.1% Juicy IPA that scored 2 Stars at The Great Taste Awards 2025. Its 5.5% Oatmeal Stout, Inside Out, earned a Gold Medal and "Best in Category - South East Region" at the 2025 Indie Beer Awards. Alcohol free options include Day Release, a 0.5% AF Pale Ale (Bronze Medal at the 2025 Indie Beer Awards), while Major Figures (4% Lager) and Jobsworth (3.4% Session Pale Ale) are gluten-free.
The Cause:
Homeless Oxfordshire provides an open door for people whose lives have been shaped by trauma
and disadvantage; offering safety, stability and support when it is needed most.
We are the county’s largest not-for-profit provider of supported accommodation for people
experiencing homelessness. Beyond bricks and mortar, we are also specialists in supporting those
whose complex needs are often the result of life-long challenges such as poverty, childhood trauma,
substance and alcohol use, institutional care, and deep social exclusion.
Our residents are mothers, brothers, aunties, cousins. They are artists, cooks, teachers, veterans. We
walk alongside people on their journey through homelessness for as long as it takes to rebuild their
lives because there is always the potential for things to be different
Food:
Tap Social serves delicious sourdough Proof Pizza from its stunning pizza truck, which features colourful art by Oxford artist Lisa Made It. Its menu changes seasonally, and all pizzas are fired with sourdough sourced directly from Tap's bakery and cafe Proof Social Bakehouse, located in Kennington just off the River Thames.
