Buck Curran is an American singer-songwriter-guitarist, record producer and painter based in Bergamo, Italy. His 9th album, Far Driven Sun, was released in August 2025. As half of the renowned folk duo Arborea, he has released 5 albums of other-worldly folk and has produced two tribute albums for guitar maestro Robbie Basho, one archival release 'Robbie Basho: 'Live in Forlì, Italy 1982'.
Curran's songwriting is poetic and mystical, his rough-hewn voice and folk melodies curl like smoke. His acoustic guitar playing is characterized by the extensive use of alternate tunings, creating melodic soundscapes.
‘Curran’s music invokes swarming natural forces, looking for the borderline between the real and the sublime and, maybe, the supernatural’Relix Magazine
‘A beautiful piece of work, interspersing space, atmospheric instrumentals with more complete song … Curran sings with the gravelly decorum of Mark Lanegan, but the songs remain, bewitchingly, just over the next horizon’

Russell Joslin’s solo sets offer a beguiling modern twist on the singer-songwriter tradition. With a 6- and 12-striing fingerpicked guitar style inspired by the great American Primitive and British folk guitarists, he provides an intricate musical bed for idiosyncratic alt-rock vocals and fractured tales of flawed love affairs, addiction and the anxieties of the digital age.
After a busy decade touring Europe’s small venues, festivals and house concerts, the London-based songwriter is currently preparing his sixth studio album.
