The Doel Brothers
In the parle of the time we are ‘stoked' that The Doel Brothers will be returning to the Country Soul for our August Session. The Doel Brothers are a 5 piece rockabilly/hillbilly band formed by three brothers Tom, Gordon & David with honouree Doel Brothers Mr Gary Boller and Mr Phil Morgan making up this fantastic quintet. With their stripped down country style boogie full of harmony, melody and twang the band display a wonderful musical chemistry with flashing touches of the ‘Louvins’, 'Johnny Cash’ and countless others but yet all done in a fresh and very hip Doel Brothers way. Suffice to say this band could play anything they had a mind to. Simply put: don’t miss them!

Ian Cal Ford
The CSS are delighted that Ian Cal Ford will be performing for us at the August Session. It’s been a long time since Ian Cal Ford tread the boards at the CSS. Born and raised in Wales Mr Cal Ford is is an established British singer, guitarist and storyteller. Recognised for his authentic stripped down 1950s country-rockabilly style, he has recorded acclaimed albums and performed throughout the UK, US & Europe. Currently, his solo show “The Storyteller” blends music with personal tales from his musical upbringing.
