Kristoffer Andrew Ross is a folk singer and guitarist from rural Upstate New York. Specializing in traditional ballads from the Northeastern United States, and their connections to origins in the British Isles
.With careful vocal and fingerstyle guitar arrangements, he seeks to entwine
skillful musicianship with an awareness of historic songs’ relationship to stories of immigration, labor, and class struggles of the past and present.
In addition to solo work, Kristoffer lead and arranged for the Men o’ War Balladeers, a Celtic and Maritime Ballad band. He has produced two albums for the group, including their 2019 release, “Low Lie the Fields.”
He is also a farmer in Cambridge, NY

Joshua Burkett

Joshua Burkett is a musician, writer, illustrator, painter, & naturalist and has been guiding light of the Western Massachusetts underground music community for the past 30 years. After leaving CT & Boston came Josh's debut album ("OwlLeavesRustling" which he self released in 1995) which is one the first examples of what would much later come to be known as "Free Folk", "Freak Folk", &/or "New Weird America". He has many other lps and duo collaborations under his belt since then, including 'Gold Cosmos' and 'Where's My Hat' plus 'Footnote(s)' and 'Yellowbeard' on the Ultra Eczema label. He also worked with the late, great Ed Askew, releasing a duo album with the phenomenal Tucker Zimmerman in 2020, his electronic project TARP with Conrad Capistran, plus his recent duo project with the amazing Lau Nau and others. Burkett is doing a few special shows this year to celebrate his new lp 'M/B/Too/4/T/&/M' (out soonon the Futura Resistenza label!)
