Welsh-born artist Deborah Rose is an enchanting, timeless singer-songwriter and guitarist who, in recent years, has made her home in Shropshire.
Known for her ethereal songwriting and pure, luminous voice, Deborah brings inspiration, faith, and depth to every performance, touching the souls of all who are in her presence.
A compelling live performer with a witty, engaging repartee, she creates an atmosphere and experience that leaves audiences feeling they have witnessed something truly intimate and unique.
She has performed internationally alongside legendary artists including Judy Collins, Jimmy Webb, and Ralph McTell, and has also sung for audiences of American author and presidential candidate Marianne Williamson.
Beyond the stage, Deborah is deeply committed to using music as a force for change. She has led songwriting workshops in prisons, helping individuals transform their lives through creativity. This work earned her an award from the Prison Service, as well as eight Koestler Foundation awards recognising songs written by inmates under her guidance.
Deborah has also worked extensively with people living with dementia across the UK and has traveled to Uganda, where she supported children and young families through music.
Her distinctive voice has drawn comparisons to Eva Cassidy, Joni Mitchell, and Enya. An independent artist, Deborah has released four albums, a live DVD, and a 7" vinyl, with Atlas being her most recent 12-track album. The Jazz Mann praised Atlas as featuring "songs that are intelligent, poetic, literate and often downright beautiful" while reviewer John Barlas said Atlas "showcases one of the most wonderful, heartwarming voices that you're likely to hear anywhere."
Deborah is currently working on her fifth album, her first poetry book, and is preparing for a 2027 tour, sharing songs, psalms, and poems in sacred spaces around the globe.
Deborah will be accompanied by world class cellist Gabriella Swallow and sought after guitarist Chaz Thorogood.
