This August Jazz at Trades is excited to welcome a very special guest, George Garford on alto saxophone!

We know George as a brilliant and searching improviser whose playing, while virtuosic, never loses touch with the vulnerability of the moment and the deeper structures of the music. Often intersecting the contemporary jazz & improvised music scenes, he leads IDEASTHESIA - a quintet that explores his original material, writes & plays with the post-fusion group DREAMSCAPES & co-leads free-improvising quartet LET FOREVER BE DELAYED.

George will be joined for this gig by a great rhythm section of Olly Chalk (piano), Tom Rivière (double bass) and Mark Hale (drums).
