The GAB Trio is made of guitarists GIANLUCA CORONA and CLEMENT REGERT, alongside percussionist STEVE TAYLOR and special guest Brazilian songstress LUNA COHEN, delivers a compelling musical experience. Their repertoire blends flamenco, Brazilian influences, and reworked pop tunes, attracting a diverse audience.
CLEMENT REGERT, a French guitarist from Paris, has been making waves in the UK music scene since 2005. Endorsed by AER Amplification & Godin guitars, Regert has graced prestigious venues and festivals, collaborating with acclaimed artists such as Marcus Strickland, Denys Baptiste and Tim Garland.
STEVE TAYLOR, a versatile percussionist, has collaborated with notable artists, such as Nitin Sawney and Ian Shaw contributing to the acclaimed Jazz FM album of the week, ‘Bloom,’ with songwriter and guitarist Rosie Frater-Taylor. His powerful drumming style has earned praise from the likes of Bluey of Incognito and Jazzwise magazine.
GIANLUCA CORONA, a seasoned professional guitarist with over twenty-five years of experience on both sides of the Atlantic, brings a wealth of musical knowledge to the trio. Holding a diploma from the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, Corona has shared the stage with Italian music luminaries such as Piero Pelù and Al Di Meola.
Hailing from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, LUNA COHEN’s music represents and reflects the rich diversity of Brazilian culture. Over the past two decades, the London-based vocalist, described as “one of the most interesting singers and composers among the rising stars of MPB - música popular brasileira" (Time Out Barcelona), has perfected her craft and earned a spot in the foreground of the jazz scene.
