Eternal Birth, the acclaimed album by award-winning flautist and composer Eliza Marshall, has been newly reimagined for release in immersive Dolby Atmos.

Hear this new release in The Gallery at Tileyard, a specialist surround-sound listening space designed and tuned by Dolby engineers.

Recorded at Real World Studios and in Dakar, the album brings together musicians and traditions from Britain, West Africa, Ireland and Scandinavia. Eliza created a celebration of life as both cycle and continuum, from conception and death to nature, ancestry and renewal. The album reveres the natural world as a living archive of our ancestors, expressing the unseen but powerful bonds we share with the Earth, with those who came before us and with the generations who will inherit it.

This is not a conventional album playback. It is a journey deep inside the music, where multiple layers of flutes, voices, rhythms and instruments move around you with extraordinary depth, clarity and dimension.

Eliza Marshall says: “My musical life has always been a melting pot of sounds, cultures and influences. From performing on major film scores to sharing stages with Peter Gabriel, The Who and Florence + The Machine, I have experienced the extraordinary power of music to create emotion, atmosphere and a sense of place.

The evening begins with Eliza in conversation about the making of the album, her collaborations across cultures and the role music can play in a fractured world. This will be followed by a specially curated immersive listening experience.
