Join us for Friday Night Jazz at the Atrium Bar & Restaurant, President Hotel, Russell Square. On 18 September, we are delighted to present the exceptional guitarist Aleph Aguiar, accompanied by Soner Ersen (piano), Andy Cleyndert (bass), and Eric Ford (drums).

Aleph Aguiar is a Brazilian-born guitarist, composer and educator whose music blends the rich rhythmic traditions of Brazil with the language of contemporary jazz. Based in London, he has established himself as a distinctive voice on the UK jazz scene, admired for his lyrical playing, sophisticated harmonic approach and expressive improvisation. As both a bandleader and collaborator, Aleph has performed at leading jazz venues and festivals, bringing together the warmth of Brazilian music with the freedom and creativity of modern jazz.

The quartet will present an evening of vibrant jazz, combining Brazilian influences, swinging grooves and imaginative improvisation, creating a programme full of colour, energy and musical interaction.

To enjoy the full experience of the evening, we recommend arriving before 7:30 PM to allow time to be seated, order your food and drinks, and settle in comfortably before the music begins at 8:00 PM.

There are two ticket options available:
Dining Ticket – For guests who wish to enjoy dinner during the performance. We will do our best to reserve a table for you; however, table reservations are subject to availability. To give yourself the best chance of securing a table, we recommend booking your dining ticket as early as possible.

Drinks Only Ticket – For guests who would like to enjoy drinks only. You are welcome to enjoy the performance from the bar area, where you can both see and hear the band. If tables become available during the evening, you are welcome to use one; however, we cannot guarantee table seating for drinks-only tickets.
