Event information

Two time MCMA Roots Duo/Group of the Year, Two Crows for Comfort, are a touring folk/Americana duo from the prairie wonderland of Manitoba, Canada. Playing well over one hundred shows each year, these troubadours spend most of their time on the road in a 20 foot camper with their 90 pound rescue dog, Elliot. They’ve become known for not only their powerful lead vocals, intricate harmonies and unique arrangements but also their comedic yet poignant storytelling and off-the-cuff stage banter that has folks smiling long after the night is over.

They've been seen at festivals across Canada, the US, Europe and the UK including the Winnipeg Folk Festival (MB), Maverick Americana Festival (UK), Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival (TX), Black Bear Americana Festival (CT), and the Blueberry Festival (AK) and have opened for the likes of Bruce Cockburn, Ani DiFranco, David Amram, and Pokey LaFarge.

Amidst their relentless touring schedule they have written and recorded three full length albums, the most recent titled 'Next to Me'. The duo is currently working on their 4th album.

"Folk music is storytelling, and these two have a rare gift for transporting a listener into the spaces of their songs, whether you’re hearing a studio recording or watching them live. Flawless harmonies dance over thoughtful compositions, with lyrics that connect deeply with their audience. Plus, Erin & Cory’s chemistry, humor, and open-hearted approach to sharing their songs will always keep Two Crows for Comfort on our wish list for house concerts when they’re coming through our region." — Jenny Inzerillo, Music Director at High Plains Public Radio (Amarillo, TX)

Rooted in Montreal, Daniel Isaiah captivates audiences with his guitar, piano, and unmistakable voice. His work has been called "stunning" by American Songwriter, reached #1 on Canadian campus stations, and aired regularly on CBC Radio.

His live performances have been widely praised: Alan Cross wrote, "Within thirty seconds of him coming onstage I was transfixed… extremely evocative, atmospheric and even slightly ominous." His Leonard Cohen tribute at Le Rialto was called "breathtaking" by La Presse.

Other highlights include festival appearances at Osheaga, SXSW, and Pop Montreal, opening for Stephen Malkmus, Van Dyke Parks, and Patrick Watson, and tours in Quebec, Ontario, New York, and Italy.
