Join us for Friday Night Jazz at the Atrium Bar & Restaurant, President Hotel, Russell Square. On 16 October, we are delighted to present the outstanding vocalist Becky Alice, accompanied by Soner Ersen (piano), Steve Rose (bass), and Gary Willcox (drums).

Finalist and runner-up in the Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Competition in Washington, D.C., Becky Alice brings her love of soulful swing, the American Songbook, and energetic scat singing to every performance. Backed by world-class musicians, she reimagines well-known jazz classics in a fresh light, combining original lyrics with lesser-known gems from the rich catalogue of jazz music.

Described by UK Jazz News as "one to discover... South of the river" and praised by Jazz Views for "an incredible innate swing feel and excellent vocal scat chops," Becky has quickly established herself as one of the UK's most exciting emerging jazz vocalists.

Together, they will present an evening of beautifully interpreted jazz standards, swinging grooves, and inspired improvisation.
To enjoy the full experience of the evening, we recommend arriving before 7:30 PM to allow time to be seated, order your food and drinks, and settle in comfortably before the music begins at 8:00 PM.

There are two ticket options available:
Dining Ticket – Dinner & Live Jazz
For guests who wish to enjoy dinner during the performance. We will do our best to reserve a table for you; however, table reservations are subject to availability. To give yourself the best chance of securing a table, we recommend booking your dining ticket as early as possible.

Drinks Ticket – Live Jazz Only
For guests who would like to enjoy drinks without dining. You are welcome to enjoy the performance from the bar area, where you can both see and hear the band. If tables become available during the evening, you are welcome to use one; however, we cannot guarantee table seating for drinks-only tickets.
Come and enjoy exceptional live jazz in a relaxed atmosphere, with delicious food, a full bar, and warm hospitality at the President Hotel.
