Join us for Friday Night Jazz at the Atrium Bar & Restaurant, President Hotel, Russell Square. On 13 November, we are delighted to present award-winning multi-instrumentalist Alan Barnes, accompanied by Soner Ersen (piano), Andy Cleyndert (bass), and Eric Ford (drums).

Alan Barnes is one of Britain's most celebrated jazz musicians, internationally renowned for his masterful performances on alto and baritone saxophones, as well as clarinet. A prolific recording artist, composer and arranger, he has enjoyed a distinguished career spanning more than four decades, earning widespread acclaim for his warm tone, effortless swing, and engaging stage presence. Equally at home in straight-ahead jazz and mainstream traditions, Alan has performed with many of the world's leading jazz artists, including Humphrey Lyttelton, Stan Tracey, John Dankworth, Kenny Davern, Scott Hamilton and Warren Vaché. His outstanding contribution to British jazz has been recognised with numerous honours, including multiple British Jazz Awards and the Parliamentary Jazz Award for Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year.

Together, they will present an evening of beautifully interpreted jazz standards, swinging grooves, and inspired improvisation, showcasing the exceptional artistry and musical rapport that have made Alan Barnes one of the UK's most admired jazz performers.

To enjoy the full experience of the evening, we recommend arriving before 7:30 PM to allow time to be seated, order your food and drinks, and settle in comfortably before the music begins at 8:00 PM.

There are two ticket options available:
Dining Ticket – Dinner & Live Jazz
For guests who wish to enjoy dinner during the performance. We will do our best to reserve a table for you; however, table reservations are subject to availability. To give yourself the best chance of securing a table, we recommend booking your dining ticket as early as possible.

Drinks Ticket – Live Jazz Only
For guests who would like to enjoy drinks without dining. You are welcome to enjoy the performance from the bar area, where you can both see and hear the band. If tables become available during the evening, you are welcome to use one; however, we cannot guarantee table seating for drinks-only tickets.
Come and enjoy exceptional live jazz in a relaxed atmosphere, with delicious food, a full bar, and warm hospitality at the President Hotel.
