Ange Boxall has performed, written, recorded, and released albums throughout the USA, UK, Europe, and Australia, and was based between London and Nashville for more than a decade. Her latest album, Skipping Stone, released late 2023, debuted on the ARIA Country Charts at #1 and #7 for Australian Albums across all genres.  She has co-written, recorded, and performed with hugely successful songwriters and musicians, from J.D. Souther of Eagles and Linda Ronstadt fame to multi-Grammy Award winner Jim Lauderdale and the late Bones Hillman of Midnight Oil. Now back in Tasmania and residing on the East Coast of Tasmania, her music continues to flourish as she responds to her birthplace and the Tasmanian landscape physically, metaphorically, and politically.

“...there’s some wonderful imagery and narrative in these songs, it’s refreshing to read lyrics that are more poetry than dear diary.” Paul McKercher, Producer.

“There IS a Tasmanian sound. It's Ange Boxall. Wow!” J.D. Souther (USA).

Over the last decade, Simon Stanley Ward has been playing his original music with his band The Shadows of Doubt in pubs, music venues, theatres and festivals in London, across the UK and in Northern Spain. Described as a country singer at heart with a streak of the surreal running through him, his live show is engaging, energetic and constantly evolving. At its best his performances can be deeply moving and moments later silly, self deprecating and hilarious.

"Home grown talent! It sounded wonderful!” Bob Harris, BBC Radio 2

"Proper country music delivered with style. The album opener "Monster Song" is quite simply one of the best country songs that this reviewer has heard in many a year. With apologies to Jon Landau, "I saw country future" - the question is does country know it? Superb album. ” Americana UK

"Expertly executed English Americana from one of the country’s most richly rewarding songwriters!." Morning Star 2024
