Returning to the stage for the first time in 2026 at their London venue of choice The Betsey Trotwood, The Understudies have re-emerged with a new single 'Soho' ("layered backing vocals and a swaying band performance of glistening guitars and swaying suave instrumentals" - God Is In The TV Zine) and even more new material. With more gigs and more material to follow, this is a chance to liven up your late-summer Saturday evening with the sextet often described as one of the best live bands in London.

Support comes from Andrew Bobby Laidlaw, songwriter and guitarist for the much-loved Lucky Soul. After spending a few years out of the spotlight, we're thrilled to be hosting Andrew making his solo debut at this special gig.

BINFIRE
South East London’s Binfire claim they are still finding their sound through an eclectic mix of influences with an accidental country streak, and a soft spot for Nikki Lane. Lately they've been writing material that swings from indie rock to funk to honest, autobiographical songwriting.
