Patrick Doyle is one of the most successful film composers of all time, with his music reaching a global audience of over a billion people. Renowned for his versatility, he has scored over 60 feature films, including Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Thor and Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Born in Scotland in 1953, Patrick graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 1975. In 1989 he won an Ivor Novello Award for his first film score for Henry V, marking the start of an impactful 30-year composer-director relationship with Sir Kenneth Branagh, producing classics including Hamlet, Cinderella, and Murder on the Orient Express.

Patrick has collaborated with acclaimed directors including Brian De Palma, Ang Lee, Mike Newell and Robert Altman. His music for Disney Pixar’s Brave showcased Scottish instrumentation and musical culture to a global audience, featuring Disney’s first song with lyrics sung in Scottish Gaelic.

Beyond film, Patrick has composed several original concert pieces, including The Thistle and the Rose, commissioned by King Charles III. In 2023, he became the first Scot in history to compose the UK monarch’s Coronation March, performed live at Westminster Abbey.

Nominated for two Academy Awards, two Césars, and two Golden Globes, Patrick has received lifetime achievement awards from the World Soundtrack Awards and BAFTA Scotland, alongside the ASCAP Henry Mancini Award and PRS Award for Extraordinary Achievement in Music. In 2025 he received an Honorary Doctorate from Berklee Valencia and in June 2026 was honoured with a CBE for services to film.

A former Composer in Residence for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and patron of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Junior Conservatoire of Music, Patrick is committed to supporting the next generation of musical and artistic talent.

Spanning five decades, Patrick’s music has cemented his status as one of the industry’s finest composers.

Cleone is a freelance producer who has worked in film production and development for our thirty years. Credits include: 'The Father (winner of two Academy Awards and two BAFTA Awards), 'Red Joan', 'Loving Vincent', 'My Week With Marilyn', 'A Bunch of Amateurs', 'Chasing Liberty', 'I Capture The Castle', 'Shakespeare In Love' (winner of seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture & three BAFTA Awards including Best Film), 'The Wings Of The Dove' (winner of two BAFTA Awards), 'Twelfth Night' and 'The Madness Of King George' (winner of one Academy Award and two BAFTA Awards, including Best British Film). Cleone most recently worked on 'My Duchess' starring Dame Joan Collins and Isabella Rossellini.
