AN INTRODUCTION TO DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING WITH GUY KING

Award winning director Guy King will be sharing advice and giving insight into the world of documentary filmmaking in this special presentation for young creatives.

Guy King is an award winning documentary filmmaker whose work is known for its distinctive storytelling, emotional depth, and innovative approach to factual filmmaking. Since beginning his career with the BBC's new talent scheme in 2007, he has directed acclaimed films and series including 'Bombing Brighton', the RTS-winning and BAFTA-nominated 'Our Falklands War: A Frontline Story', Celtic Award-winning cinema feature 'Different League: The Derry City Story', BAFTA-nominated 'Superkids', and one of Channel 5/Netflix's highest rating series 'The Fall: Skydive Murder Plot'. In 2025 he directed 'Taylor' a two part documentary charting the rise of Taylor Swift from country prodigy to global phenomenon.
