Money raised from this gig will support the Hughes APS Trust, a UK charity for people affected by Hughes Syndrome, also known as Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS).
APS is an autoimmune condition which causes the blood to clot more easily than normal. It can lead to serious problems including blood clots, strokes and heart problems, as well as complications in pregnancy. APS is the commonest treatable cause of recurrent miscarriage, yet it remains underdiagnosed; many people may not know they have the condition until a serious problem occurs.
The Hughes APS Trust works to improve access to diagnosis and management, raise awareness and understanding of APS, and support research into better treatments. By coming along, you’ll be helping the charity spread reliable information, encourage earlier diagnosis and support people affected by the condition
