Eight Rounds Rapid are a four-piece from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, formed in 2010. Drawing on the Canvey Island R&B tradition of Dr Feelgood and the post-punk energy of Wire, Gang of Four and Public Image Limited, the band have built a reputation for raw, high-octane live performances and acerbic songwriting with three albums released to widespread critical acclaim.
