The Sha Sha Shanimals is a band, a feeling, an ecstatic vibration and also a troupe of crepuscular hallows intent on bringing their actual melodic po-wave no-wave punk songs to the whole of the imagined universe. They’re releasing their second 7” single in October and are excited to play those tracks plus other whizzding tunes at the hallowed “kitchen gig” de ALBION NIGHTS. Previous single Dumb Contortion was even written in a kitchen. How’s that for serendipity. This evening has magic written all over it, nay injected into its evening-y veins. And it hasn’t even happened yet.

The Sha Sha Shanimals is comprised of, for information purposes, Siân Pattenden (vox, gtr); Louis Jones (gtr), Dan Farrow (bass) and Camila de la Vega (drums). They are quixotic but true, and quite handsome, all four of them.
