Lilford Hall is one of the great houses of the county, and has an exciting and chequered history. This illustrated lecture and discussion on the history of Lilford Hall, presented by the Oundle U3A Local History Group, marks the culmination of the Group’s extensive research into the history of Lilford Hall, and the publication of the Group’s illustrated report outlining the results of their investigations.

Event information

The event consists of presentations with slides and film by the members of the Group, followed by a discussion. So if you remember the days in the 1970s and ‘80s, when the park at Lilford was a popular venue for all sorts of events, come and share your memories!

This presentation marks the culmination of a research project on Lilford by the Oundle U3A Local History Group, the group’s illustrated report outlining the results of their investigations will be available at the event.

Everyone with an interest in the heritage of Northamptonshire will find it fascinating and is most welcome to come. Refreshments will be available.
