ROBERT VINCENT'S new album "Separate the Fiction from the Fact" will without doubt cement his emergence as one of Britain's best singer/songwriters. He penned the UK AMERICANA MUSIC ASSOCIATION AWARDS 2025 UK Song Of The Year WINNER - the anthemic ‘Follow What You Love & Love Will Follow’ - and received a 2025 UK Artist of The Year Nomination. Robert is no overnight sensation and has toured the UK extensively and beyond with his band and as a solo artist. September 2024 saw Robert perform an official showcase at AmericanaFest in Nashville and the year culminated with an invitation to support Robert Plant & his band Saving Grace, opening their shows in Antwerp, Paris and across the UK.

It is Vincent’s powerful and soulful voice that has continually attracted acolytes such as Bob Harris, Paul Carrack and Mary Chapin Carpenter. In 2016, Harris named Robert his ‘Emerging Artist’ of the year" at the inaugural UK Americana Awards show describing Vincent as ‘absolutely magnetic’ and ‘the real deal’. In 2018 following the release of ‘I’ll Make The Most Of My Sins’ (AMAUK Album of The Year 2018) Robert was invited to perform on the BBC ‘Old Grey Whistle Test, For One Night Only’ closing the show. It was this performance that would propel him to number 1 and 2 in the iTunes Album and Singles Charts.

In 2020, Robert’s third LP, the critically-acclaimed ‘In This Town You’re Owned’, won the AMAUK’s ‘Album Of The Year’ award for 2021 and Robert himself was awarded ‘Artist of The Year’. The record also charted at number 2 in the UK Americana Charts and American Songwriter Magazine named ‘In this Town You’re Owned’ in its top 20 albums (every genre) of 2020.

Robert continues to enthral audiences and critics alike, showing his versatility as both a solo performer and with a full band. Notable performances previously include 2023 Celtic Connections at Glasgow Theatre Royal with Mary Chapin Carpenter, showcase performances at Americana Fest in Nashville, Tennessee, supporting Roger Waters at Hyde Park, Tours with Robert Plant, Paul Carrack and Duane Eddy who gifted him with one of his signature ‘Gretsch’ guitars after his 80th birthday celebration at The London Palladium. 2025 saw a return to Celtic Connections, a tour of Norway, and an EP of remarkably insightful covers with Anna Corcoran. In 2026 he has been recording his new album - "Separate the Fiction from the Fact" - he previewed some of the tracks and absolutely wowed Cubley in February, and for 2027 we'll be proudly part of the launch tour!

Our in-house critic considers his song "The Ending" to be "one of the best songs I've heard in years by anybody anywhere. Up there with Nick Lowe and Jackson Browne". So good, in fact, that Mary Chapin Carpenter covered it. Its only competition is other songs by Robert!

Long Road Festival said "Robert's tour-de-force, always a scene-stealer any time we have seen him, "Demons" reduced the crowd to a rapt silence. A stellar end to a truly fabulous set." Actually at Cubley the way Robert delivered the first line was enough to enrapture them into silence.

Robert Vincent is a legend in the making and will be joined by long-time collaborators pianist and vocalist Anna Corcoran and double-bassist Danny Williams. There is a quality to Robert's voice that simply cannot be captured in the studio - his delivery envelops you as he creates a new space all his own for you to share.
