Join David Myers as he recounts his 850km run through the mountains of the Balkans. Starting in Croatia, his route took him along the Dinaric Alps through Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo. He encountered an area of immense natural and cultural beauty, populated by people of tremendous hospitality. But a region of incredible complexity, still trying to move on from the horrors of war and ethnic division. From accidental border crossings, sliding down snow fields, abandoned villages, lightning storms, and a very close call with Europe’s most venomous snake, there was never a dull moment in this raw and wild land.
