Formed over a decade ago,  Sloe Train has built a formidable reputation on the national circuit, commanding main stage slots at premier festivals including Colne, Upton, Alfold, Buxton, Looe, and Bosworth. Known for their storytelling and deep groove, the band—featuring vocalist Pete Carlisle, drummer Chris McCormack, keyboardist Chris Burrows and bassist Tony Ecclestone—entered a bold new era in 2025: following the departure of longtime guitarist Jerome Braud back to France, the arrival of new lead guitarist András Droppa injected an explosive wave of fresh energy and creative fire.

Their  new, all-original album, Kings of Saturday Night, was written during the winter of 2025/26 and tracked at Wiltshire's Mooncalf Studios with producer Nick Beere. Channeling the spirits of Joe Bonamassa, King King, and Gary Moore, the record is a powerful, highly collaborative testament to a band operating at the absolute peak of their powers.
