A new two day event of talks, live music and grassroots activism hosted by the Brighton & Hove Green Party. Culminating in an evening fundraising concert “THE GREEN PARTY PARTY” on Saturday 3rd from some of Brighton’s finest bands including Arcadia Residential, Sock Drawer & Bert. Undercurrents is a space to connect with and learn from grassroots activists and community campaigners across Brighton & Hove and beyond, bringing together those who are leading our movement from below.

Sessions will cover topics such as;
- How we can stop migrant raids in our communities
- Adapting our economy in the climate crisis
- Resisting the right wing press
- Politics and parenthood
- The ongoing genocide in Gaza.


On Friday evening there will be an unmissable live recording of Life of the Party Podcast co-hosted by Greens Organise.
There are limited free tickets available for non-conference attendees. Book yours before they’re gone! If you’re attending Green Party Conference you won’t need to book, just turn up with your pass.


Undercurrents is a Fringe event of the Green Party National Conference. The day events are free for anyone to attend, local residents and conference attendees.

Back in the woods promotions hosts three of Brighton hottest bands for an unmissable evening of live music and dancing, raising funds for Brighton & Hove Green Party.

Arcadia Residential
Twin-fronted Brighton-born ‘Arcadia Residential’ find belonging in their raucous stage presence, catchy hooks and big sonic climaxes. Tipping mundanity on its side, the 4-piece deliver on fun, outlandish and colloquial lyrics, all strung up in a relatable yarn of young modern life.

Sock Drawer
The second best band in world. Irreverent pop duo Sock Drawer are here to save the world. Their debut album was co-produced by James Dring ( Gorillaz, Blur, Jamie T).

Bert
Brighton native Bert is a songwriter and producer who likens song writing to a "GPS for life." Blending generous pinches of indie-folk with a sprinkle of soul and a dash of alt-pop, his music is both nourishing and refreshingly unique.
