As part of our 16th Birthday celebrations we are over the moon to bring back one of our exiled Hartlepool son's after 3yrs away, and PinDrop favourite, who will be bringing some of his Red Meat Orchestra to perform his new songs from his recent and already critically acclaimed 'Monkey Hanger' Album, as well as brand new '1989' EP, and of course songs from his back catalogue inc Moses classics.

Hartlepool born composer Paul Mosley has travelled the world making music that mixes classic old school 70’s singer-songwriter stylings with a theatre composers ear for the ‘beautifully strange’ (**, NARC) .

His latest album ‘Monkey Hanger’ is a funny and moving song-cycle about memory, belonging and growing up in 1980s Hartlepool. God Is in the TV called it “a mighty fine album - worthy of any end-of-year list ****’, and Music Mecca described it as “HIs best album: explorative, reassuring and introspective.****”

Paul has played everywhere from Glastonbury Festival to an Amsterdam brothel with Icelandic farmers choirs and Danish puppets. Previous acclaim includes four-star reviews from Q, The Quietus and BBC 6 Music while Jools Holland simply exclaimed: “What a voice!”

CHARLOTTE GRAYSON

Charlotte Grayson is a singer-songwriter from Hartlepool, County Durham, known for sharp storytelling, warm vocals and songs that sit somewhere between Americana, indie pop and acoustic confessionals. Since releasing her debut single ‘Maybe’ in 2018, Charlotte has built a quietly impressive catalogue and a strong reputation across the North East, earning several BBC Introducing Track of the Week selections and performing a number of BBC live sessions along the way.

After a period exploring a bigger indie-pop sound with a full band, Charlotte has returned to a more stripped-back live set-up: one guitar, one voice and songs that cut straight through. Recent solo shows and support slots with Brooke Combe, Sandi Thom and local legend Martin Stephenson have marked the start of a new chapter.

In 2026, Charlotte is writing and demoing her next album, with a renewed focus on the storytelling and stripped-back songwriting that first set her apart.

LOST STATE OF DANCE

Lost State of Dan is no stranger to PinDrop, having graced our stage a number of times across the years. Soulful, eighties-tinged and built on big melodies, tender arrangements and lyrics that demand a second listen, Dan brings a warmth and personality to every room he plays that is hard to shake off.

Formerly of Lost State of Dance, Dan has since carved out a solo path that leans into the intimate and the emotional, his keys playing drawing as much attention as his vocals. He has been played on BBC Introducing and is a well-loved presence on the North East live circuit. After a short time away, he returns to the stage tonight and we could not be happier to have him back.
