The kids are alright – and they’re coming to Paper Dress for an unmissable Friday night at Club Precious, which has speedily developed an impressive reputation for can’t-miss happenings on the London indie scene.
What is more, this is one special line-up, headed by the spellbinding RADHIKA, whose debut album 'Cine-Pop' was released earlier this year to huge acclaim on the Glass Modern label before a show-stealing performance at Glas-Goes Pop. Expect an evening featuring sounds of ethereal beauty infused by the spirit of the Cocteau Twins and Felt, among others.
Fresh from tours with the Tubs and Autocamper and a major support slot with the mighty Sharp Pins, BRAMWELL are in the vanguard of the current power-pop boom on both sides of the Atlantic. They’ve released a couple of brilliant hook-laden singles (‘Problems’ and ‘Standing On Stones’) and their live set is getting better all the time. You won’t be able to keep yourself from cutting some serious rug.
As if that isn’t enough, proceedings will be kicked off by SUPERSUN, Glasgow’s newest bright young things – featuring three siblings and a cousin and making their London debut. Expect big, blood-tight harmonies and melodies that soar over driving rhythms, delivered with infectious energy by a band moving faster than most. They’ve already won over their home town music community … now it’s London’s turn.
