Thornton Hough Comedy Club returns with another sensational line-up on Friday, November 12 with food available on the night too.
Thornton Hough Village Club & Bar’s venture into comedy have proved a runaway success since they were launched in 2024 by DBN Events headed up by Dean Boodaghians-Nolan.
Headlining our November 12 night is the exquisite SULLY O’SULLIVAN.
Multi-award-winning stand-up Sully is renowned for his rambunctious crowd-work and energetic deadpan style.
This globe-trotting Kiwi Comic has kept audiences rolling in the aisles all the way from Pakuranga to Prague and New Plymouth to Nova Scotia, with The Scotsman calling him a highlight of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, the Australian Times declaring “his timing and wit impeccable”, and the BBC praising his “wicked sense of humour”.​​​​​

The opening act is the wondrous MATTY OXLEY.
Matty is a Teesside Comedian who uses self- deprecating humour with a cheeky wink and a smile. Matty can be seen at many a comedy night all over the UK sharing his funny and often embarrassing medical stories, along with is dry and sarcastic wit.
Matty explains what it’s like to be different and tells his stories on life in hilarious fashion. From early days growing up in a working-class family , to working in McDonalds to performing stand-up comedy in front of 2,000 people.

Amit Mistry is a stand-up comedian born and raised in Manchester, to Indian parents who moved to the UK to find a better life. Amit shares highly relatable stories about modern life as a dad and husband, leaving all crowds entertained up and down the country! Amit has tour supported and opened for circuit powerhouses like Stephen Bailey and Mick Ferry and was shortlisted for BBC New Comedy Awards in 2024, 2025 and 2026. An act for all, except his in-laws
