What about your annual Christmas jumper - has the novelty worn off and you’re in need of a new crimbo knit? This year, instead of buying new, grab that bag of clothes you've been meaning to sell online and/or your novelty collections and head down to Hopscotch on Tuesday 13 October for a different type of clothes swap


This autumn swap your clothes whilst mixing with a new group of people alongside cocktails and pints! This clothes swap isn't just about swapping and leaving, this is your opportunity to socialise with other like-minded people, swan around a great venue and have a cocktail or three all whilst supporting Sustainable Fashion Week Crystal Palace Hub 2026.

What to bring

Bring up to 5 items of clothing - please do not bring any ultra-fast fashion brands such as Shein, Aliexpress, Temu, Boohoo, Pretty Little Thing or associated labels (this excludes novelty wear)
Up to 5 items of accessories - jewellery, hats, shoes, scarfs etc - just no undies please

All items need to have been recently laundered… ironing, we’ll leave that up to you!
All items need to be in good condition and be honest about any mending or marks there might be. We know that vintage is more likely to be worn and/or slightly damaged, that’s okay, just be transparent!


How it works

Come early, pay your donation at the door, we recommend £5
Grab a table
Each table will have a set of stickers with your unique number on it
1 for you
1 for the table
10 for your items


Layout your items
Put your sticker somewhere visible on yourself
Go to the bar
Have a look around at other tables
Find what you like
Track down the person who it belongs to by their number - say hello!
Ask if they want to swap with you, or if they’re happy for you take it
Repeat stages 3 to 8

At the end of the night, anything you haven’t swapped you can take home or leave and we’ll take it to charity.


Don’t have anything to swap?
That’s okay, you don’t need to bring items for swapping if you don’t want to. Come and grab a drink, socialise and have a look around.
See something you like - swappers might ask for a small amount of money if you aren’t swapping - please make sure you have PayPal or similar system available.
