Event information

Hi, I'm Caroline :) a local singer/songwriter with a passion for writing songs that articulate challenges of living in today’s world. I believe in the power of music to create positive changes and enable us to reflect and communicate better with each other. My music connects me to the community, and I go wherever it takes me.

I have been running family music groups for over 25 years in the area as well as working in local preschools and community centres. I perform regularly at open mics, I busk on London streets and perform my own solo gigs. I also take part in festivals, especially those with an environmental focus.
Over the years I have collaborated with many wonderful musicians to create several albums for children. My collection of songs relating to the environment, mental health and observations of daily life continue to grow and seem even more relevant now than when I first started. I take great care when creating a song and will not let it go until I feel I can’t make it any better. Lyrics are so important to me and there are so many ways of saying something.
