⭐ MARQUEE SQUARE HEROES – THE FISH YEARS CELEBRATION ⭐
If you lived through the 80s, you’ll remember when music was EVERYTHING. When we waited for every scrap of news in the music press or on teletext, desperate to know what MARILLION were doing next.
From Fish joining in ’81 to the Script for a Jester’s Tear breakthrough in ’83, the rise was explosive. A No.1 album, and the single Kayleigh dominating the summer of ’85. In 1986 60,000 fans attended Milton Keynes for the Welcome to the Garden Party show— MARILLION became arguably the biggest band in the UK, maybe Europe. Seven magical years we’ll never forget.
🎭 MARQUEE SQUARE HEROES have been keeping that magic alive across the UK and Europe, recreating the Fish era with incredible authenticity. One of the standout moments of the 2026 tour was performing Misplaced Childhood in full at St Peter’s Church, Marlborough — followed by 90 minutes of classics and a stunning Grendel. A night to remember.
🌟 2027 – A VERY SPECIAL WEEKEND AT ST PETER’S We’re coming back for a unique two night celebration. Each night: two full studio albums, plus non album tracks from the same era. Every recorded song from the Fish years will be played at least once across the weekend.
🎟 Tickets will be available for each night individually, or as a specially priced weekend pass. We’re also expecting some very special guests who were part of the original Marillion story.
