Hailed by Jazzwise as one to watch in 2026, Hannah Horton is an award-winning saxophonist, composer, and official Selmer Artist with a unique voice in the UK jazz scene. Her sound blends lyrical melodies, grooves, and heartfelt storytelling, brought to life through the expressive power of both tenor and baritone saxophones.

Her latest album, *Stories on the Wind*, was recorded live at Red Kite Studio in the Welsh hills alongside Sam Leak, Rob Statham, and Steve Taylor. Inspired by feelings, memories, and life’s moments, it captures a band playing with space, honesty, and trust, placing Hannah’s saxophones at the heart of a deeply personal set of original music.
The release builds on growing national recognition for her work, with highlights including Jazz FM playlisting, BBC Radio 3 airplay, a Jazzwise Taking Off feature naming her One to Watch for 2026, and a four-star All About Jazz review. She’s recently performed at venues such as Pizza Express Jazz Club, Crazy Coqs, London Jazz Festival, Leeds Jazz Festival, and Scarborough Jazz Festival.
Alongside her work as an artist and bandleader, Hannah is an award-winning educator and the founder of J Steps, a youth jazz ensemble for female and non-binary musicians. She won the Parliamentary Jazz Award for Jazz Education of the Year for her work supporting the next generation of improvising musicians.
