Mike Murray conductor
Trinity Orchestra’s 31st season kicks off with a varied evening of passionate orchestral music. Beethoven’s Egmont Overture provides a powerful introduction, before guitarist Morgan Szymanski - named by Classical Guitar Magazine as “a player destined for future glories”, and soloist with orchestras including the Hallé, the Royal Philharmonic and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields - performs Rodrigo’s evocative guitar concerto, famously rich with the sensual emotion of the Spanish folklore of the composer’s homeland. The programme is completed by Brahms’ expressive fourth, and final, symphony.
Each season Trinity Orchestra offers a wide range of concerts, from chamber music to large scale symphonic works, demonstrating the versatility and musicality of Harrow’s premier community orchestra. Players are drawn mainly from the local area, highlighting the wealth of talent Harrow possesses. Performing with some of the country’s finest soloists, the Orchestra presents concerts of the highest quality.
