Gaelforce, 2023 winners of the introducing stage at the Great British Folk Festival, bring their high-energy Celtic folk rock sound to Saltburn Community Hall on Friday 20th November. With a line up of fiddle, bagpipes, guitar, bass, drums , vocals and additional instruments, expect a mix of electrified traditional folk songs, original compositions, and foot-stomping jigs and reels delivered with relish and good humour. We challenge you not to have a good time and not be dancing before the night's finished!!

Support comes from Sue Conroy. Based in Middlesbrough Sue is a singer/songwriter. Her distinctive voice and accomplished guitar playing, combined with her skilful and prolific song-writing have already earned her a warm response on the North East folk scene. Her songs range from feisty protests with a strong, social conscience to dreamy, lyrical ballads capturing her love of the outdoors. Her repertoire includes comedy songs and others inspired by local landscapes, landmarks and histories.
