What do we mean by ‘Work In Progress’? These shows aren’t the finished product. The comedians will be fine tuning them before they take them out on tour. You may see them occasionally referring to notes and there may well be the odd gag that doesn’t make the final edit. The advantage for our customers is you get two shows (roughly 50 to 60 minutes each) for less thatn it would cost you to see one. You also get to hear the brand new gags and routines long before anyone else.

Justin Moorhouse is an acclaimed English stand-up comedian, actor, and radio presenter from Manchester. Born in 1970, he left a career in sales to pursue comedy at the age of 29, quickly establishing himself by winning the City Life Comedian of the Year award.

Moorhouse shot to mainstream fame as Young Kenny in Peter Kay’s hit sitcom Phoenix Nights, memorably spending an entire episode with his face painted like a tiger. His acting credits also include Ken Loach’s film Looking for Eric and TV shows like Shameless.

A master of quick wit and jovial crowd work, he is a regular on television and radio programs. He has appeared on Live at the Apollo, QI, and in Dictionary Corner on Countdown. Offstage, the Manchester-based comic is a dedicated father, a vegan, and continues to tour the UK with popular solo stand-up shows like Northern Joker and The Greatest Performance of My Life
