Picky New Promotions are proud to bring you a night of noise at The Lab on Sat, Dec 5, featuring Italian post-punk duo KILL YOUR BOYFRIEND with support from Manchester's NEU OSCURO, Northampton's own LITESLEEPER, and Las Vegas duo NOTHING BUT SILENCE.

Kill Your Boyfriend are a post-punk duo from Treviso, Italy, formed in 2011 by guitarist/vocalist Matteo Scarpa and drummer Antonio Angeli. Blending driving rhythms, abrasive guitars and dark, atmospheric soundscapes, the band have developed a distinctive style that bridges post-punk, shoegaze and electronic music, constantly pushing their sound into new and experimental territory.

Across four full-length albums and a string of singles and EPs, Kill Your Boyfriend have built a reputation for crafting hypnotic, immersive music that balances brooding intensity with pulsing electronic textures. Releases such as Killadelica (2020) and Voodoo (2022) marked a significant evolution in their sound, further cementing their place within the contemporary European underground scene.

Renowned for their powerful live performances, the duo have toured extensively throughout Europe, the UK and Russia, sharing stages with artists including Preoccupations, The KVB, Zola Jesus, Civil Civic, The Underground Youth and ZU. With a sound that is both relentlessly driving and atmospherically expansive, Kill Your Boyfriend continue to stand out as one of Italy's most compelling modern post-punk acts.

Joining them on this tour are Manchester-based NEU OSCURO. Born from a friendship forged in Manchester’s underground scene, Neu Oscuro fuse psychedelic textures and dark post-punk intensity into a hypnotic, atmospheric sound.

Additional support from Northampton's own LITESLEEPER and Chicago, US duo NOTHING BUT SILENCE.
