ARTIST INFORMATION

ROSS LAMBERT
Northern Irish (and London-based) guitarist and ‘magnetic and vibrating sources’ player Ross Lambert, has in his own words, the following fundamental and simultaneous approaches to live performance: to play as though it was both the first time and also the last; and to able to differentiate between what is good and worth conserving and what is not. Ross has been involved in, initiated and been a connector between a very wide variety of improvisatory music since his first exposure and (immediate) commitment to it, in Sheffield via Derek Bailey during the mid-1980s. Although under-recorded (he claims ‘by choice’), Ross has worked with a huge number of musicians from around the world, including Tetuzi Akiyama, Ami Yoshida, Jean-Luc Guionnet, Paul Hession, Rhodri Davies, John Butcher and Evan Parker, as well as his close friends Eddie Prevost, Seymour Wright, and Sebastian Lexer.

NATHANIEL CATCHPOLE
Nat Catchpole has been involved in London’s free improvisation scene for two decades, on the cutting edge of saxophone technique while deeply rooted in the history of the instrument; playing with musicians such as Eddie Prévost, Paul Rutherford, Steve Reid, Alan Wilkinson, Steve Noble, Tetuzi Akiyama and Guillaume Viltard.

“Nathaniel Catchpole impresses with his contrarian approach to conversation […] he’s as uncategorisable as Hitchens” – Walter Horn, Bagatellen

REGAN ALANA BOWERING
Regan Bowering is a percussionist, improviser and sound artist based in London. Her solo work explores various combinations of drums and percussion, objects, amps, speakers, and feedback. Her debut album “Solos for _ _ _ _ Spaces” (Dec 2023 on Bezirk Tapes) was described as “a play of contrasts, contradicting voluminous expressions with confined phrases, taming resounding feedback with faint percussive flutters, but one that feels driven by the desire to craft electrifying drama rather than pure autotelic dissonance.” (The Quietus). She is one third of a collaborative project with Li Song and Conal Blake, with two releases: “2 Movements” (Feedback Moves, 2024) and “Music for Snare Drums and Portable Speakers” (Infant Tree, 2023). Her debut LP “A Technology of Feeling” was released January 2026 on Infant Tree.
