Join us for a hands-on Jewellery Wax Carving Workshop with Oxford-based artist and jewellery maker Eva, where you’ll learn how to design and carve your very own ring or pendant from wax. Your finished design will then be cast in metal and professionally finished into a unique piece of jewellery to treasure for years to come.

You’ll have the opportunity to make your piece truly personal by incorporating fingerprints, textures and impressions from organic materials. You could even bring along a small twig, leaf or other natural object from a meaningful place to create a one-of-a-kind texture or imprint.

Eva will guide you through the process and help you bring your ideas to life, whether you have a clear design in mind or want to experiment and see where the process takes you. No previous experience is necessary, and all materials are provided.

Your ticket includes one finished piece cast in brass. If you’d prefer another metal, you’ll also have the option to upgrade to silver, white gold or other gold carats, or gold plating. These upgrades will be paid for separately on the day and will be calculated according to the weight of your wax piece and the current metal price.

If you’re making a ring, we can measure your ring size at the workshop. If you’re creating a piece for someone else, make sure to find out their ring size beforehand!

Your finished jewellery will be ready to collect approximately 1–2 months after the workshop, once it has been cast and finished.
